I began to be interested in photography more or less with the advent of digital, discovering new horizons and learning a new way of seeing the nature that surrounds us made me passionate about this art. In 2006 I started posting my first images on this site and surprisingly the results were above my expectations, receiving a lot of positive feedback from other photographers and awards from several publishers who started posting my images. Over the years some of my images have been awarded in various international competitions (Montphoto, Asferico, GDT) by making some moments of Sicilian nature travel around the world. Surely living in Sicily has meant for me to be emotionally involved in its magical energy. Above all, I tried to highlight atmospheres not related to the stereotype of Sicily, photographing woods, ice and snowy landscapes that are certainly not part of the collective imagination of this patch of land. There are locations, such as Etna, where the magical energy of this land manifests itself with all its vigor, other places such as the Nebrodi park and the Madonie park where it is possible to hear the silence of nature, these sensations are those that I try to bring the strength and silence of nature inside my images.
