Ivan Pedretti
Hi, I'm Ivan Pedretti, I studied chemical engineering in Cagliari, from a passion for information technology, chemistry and physics, around 2010 I began to get closer and closer to photography, I started photographing mainly nature, from macros of flowers and insects to birds in ponds, until 2012 when I discovered a great passion for night landscape photography. In 2013 I made a panorama that allowed me to win a very important worldwide award in 2014 and from that moment I decided to dedicate myself totally to this work and I became a professional photographer in Cagliari, Sardinia.
What fascinates me most about this type of photography is the atmosphere that I always experience in those moments, the solitude and the vision of that moment and that scenario all to myself, almost as if it were only my privilege. My motto has become: "Those who can do it do, those who don't know how to criticize". Because it's only with results that you prove your worth.
Most of my shots are landscapes. A few years ago, after a trip to Madagascar, I rediscovered a passion for reportage, because you can tell the landscape even with the faces of the place.
